Two teenagers were arrested Thursday morning for allegedly pistol-whipping and carjacking a 75-year-old man.

Authorities released surveillance video of the incident last week in the hopes that someone would recognize them. The incident happened on July 9 near W. 140th Street and Bellaire Road.

In the video, the two suspects are seen walking up to the victim who was using a walker. The suspects walked up behind him, and one of them used a pistol to hit the victim in the head several times, according to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

The suspects drove off in the victim's 2000 Chevy Impala, which was later found by a retired police officer near W. 132nd Street and Puritas Avenue, authorities said.

On August 8, arrest warrants were issued for Jonathon Hill, 19, and a 17-year-old boy, according to the task force. Officials said both were arrested in an apartment building in the 4700 block of Pearl Road.

Both suspects were wanted for aggravated robbery, kidnapping, felonious assault, carrying concealed weapons, grand theft and having weapons under disability, according to the task force.
