CLEVELAND — One of Cleveland’s oldest traditional Italian restaurants doing everything it can to survive the coronavirus pandemic is now facing another problem after the season’s first winter storm.

Guarino’s Restaurant, established in 1918, announced its newly built winter garden was damaged after heavy, wet snow caused the tent to collapse.

The heavily heated outdoor area allowed the restaurant and customers to enjoy an extended patio season.

The restaurant encourages customers to consider takeout while the outdoor seating undergoes repair.
