It's official! Baker Mayfield Day proclaimed in Parma

PARMA, Ohio - Thursday's Browns victory over the Jets has everyone in Northeast Ohio celebrating, but one city, in particular, went a step further and issued a proclamation in honor of Baker Mayfield's debut as Cleveland's newest quarterback.

Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter honored both the Browns and Mayfield with a proclamation at Mario's Barbershop, 7526 Broadview Road. The event signing took place during a food and supply drive for Hurricane Florence victims.

DeGeeter said that Sept. 21, 2018, will forever be known as Baker Mayfield Day.
