STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The fifth and final inmate who escaped from the Stark County Regional Community Corrections Center earlier this month has been captured.
According to the U.S. Marshals, 24-year-old Vincent Blanc was taken into custody in the 4400 block of Sherman Church St. SW in Canton. Following his arrest, he was transported to the Stark County Jail.
“The city of Canton and the surrounding area is now safer with all five of these inmates back behind bars, all law enforcement involved worked hard and worked quickly to get these suspects back behind bars,” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliot.
Blanc was one of five inmates who escaped custody on Feb. 10 after smashing out a window on the first floor of the corrections center.
