COLUMBUS, Ohio — In a daily update on coronavirus cases, the Ohio Department of Health confirms Saturday that there are now 3,739 cases of COVID-19 in the state. That's a jump of 427 from yesterday, showing that the number of new cases each day continues to accelerate.

There are now 102 deaths across the state, an increase of 11 over the previous day.

There were 1,006 total hospitalizations reported on Saturday, with 326 ICU admissions, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The median age of patients is 53 with the age range for infected patients from younger than 1 years old to 101 years old.
