CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Board of Health and Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish held a virtual news briefing to discuss the current surge of coronavirus cases in the county.

Board of Health Commissioner Terry Allan and Board of Health Director of Epidemiology Jana Rush spoke during the briefing.
Cuyahoga County is experiencing the highest surge of COVID-19 of any county in the state, with a case rate of 3,023 per 100,000 residents over the last two weeks in December, according to Ohio Department of Health data, more than double the statewide average.
