CLEVELAND — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine will join local and federal partners at the Wolstein Center as up to 1,500 Ohioans will receive a COVID-19 vaccine during the soft launch of the mass vaccination clinic.
DeWine is expected to make a statement at 10 a.m. Watch it live in the media player below:
DeWine will be joined by the following representatives during the opening:
- FEMA Region 5 Acting Administrator Kevin Sligh.
- Cuyahoga County Exectuive Armond Budish
- Cleveland State University President Harlan Sands.
The Wolstein Center Mass Vaccination Clinic will officially open on March 17. By Monday, March 22, DeWine expects the clinic to be able to vaccinate around 6,000 individuals a day.
