The state of Ohio released its latest coronavirus numbers on Thursday, and they show a familiar trend: new cases just below the 21-day average, and deaths, hospitalizations and ICU admissions just above, with no dramatic increases or decreases in any of the numbers.
Ohio reported 476 new cases on Thursday, which was 33 more than reported on Wednesday.
Even though more cases were reported than the previous day, it was still below the 21-day average of 561.
The death rate in Ohio continues to rise slightly and has been reported above the 21-day average.
Ohio reported 54 deaths on Thursday, which is 15 more than the 21-day average.
The state reported 111 new hospitalizations, bringing the total to 5,811. The new hospitalizations are 22 more than the 21-day average, which is 89.
Twenty-four coronavirus patients were admitted to the ICU, bringing the total to 1,516. The 21-day average of ICU hospitalizations is 17.
New coronavirus cases in Cuyahoga County have continued to plateau, with 74 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
The City of Cleveland reported 50 new cases, bringing their total to 1,523.
