CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metropolitan School District announced it will share its full reopening plan with parents and students on July 24.

The plan will include several options for how students will experience learning and teaching this year, based largely on the city and county’s risk level as reported by the state’s public health advisory system.

In a statement, CMSD CEO Eric Gordon said the first day of school for students of the district’s Year-Round schools will be Monday, August 24, with all other schools beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The district asked parents to make sure they registered their child’s school choices by visiting its online enrollment portal at ChooseCMSD.org or by calling 216-838-3675.
