CLEVELAND — The City of Cleveland reported the most coronavirus cases in a single day on Sunday.
The city reported 75 new coronavirus cases, bringing their total to 2,245.
“Today, we’ve had our highest number yet of coronavirus cases in the City of Cleveland,” said Mayor Frank Jackson. “Make no mistake - the virus has not gone away. If we don’t double down on prevention and take these measures seriously, the effects will be devastating.”
Jackson is urging residents to continue practicing social distancing, washing hands regularly, staying home as much as possible, and wearing masks when leaving home.
The new confirmed cases include males and females whose ages range from their teens to their 70s.
