Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream in Beachwood temporarily closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19

BEACHWOOD, Ohio — The Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream store in Beachwood is temporarily closed for cleaning after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the shop, it was closed Friday and will remain closed until Sunday. The store is following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on deep-cleaning.

The employee who tested positive last worked at the location on Tuesday. They are currently under self-quarantine.

Anyone who had an online pre-order or cake order is asked to call the Van Aken location for help at 216-450-1129.
