Summit County Public Health offering J&J vaccine during single-day clinic

AKRON, Ohio — Summit County Public Health is offering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine during a single day drive-thru clinic on Thursday, June 10.

The one-dose shot will be administered from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then again from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at SCPH located at 1867 West Market Street in Akron.

Appointments are not required and walk-ins will be accepted.

To receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, individuals must be 18 or older.

Anyone with questions can call the COVID-19 call line at 330-926-5795 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SCPH will continue to hold its drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinics each Wednesday in June, offering both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine during those clinics.
