Cleveland reports third COVID-19 related death; 11 new cases

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Department of Public Health (CDPH) was notified Saturday of 11 new positive COVID-19 tests in Cleveland residents, bringing the total confirmed cases in the city to 293.

Officials also reported the city's third COVID-19 related death on Saturday.

The third death was a man in his 80s, according to city officials.

The new cases include both males and females, whose ages range from less than 20-years-old to in their 80s, the city of Cleveland said.

CDPH is working to identify those who may have come into close contact with the residents who tested positive for potential testing or monitoring, according to CDPH.
