Gov. Mike DeWine, health director Dr. Amy Acton give daily briefing on COVID-19

COLUMBUS — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine will give an update on the coronavirus and the state’s response to the growing number of cases on Wednesday afternoon.

DeWine will be joined by Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted.

During Tuesday's briefing, Dr. Acton said Ohio is a on 7-14-day lag behind New York City, which is now experiencing a crush of cases. Gov. DeWine continued to encourage everyone who can to stay home and stop the spread of the coronavirus.
