LOGAN, Ohio — Hocking Hills State Park in Southeast Ohio will close Friday night at sunset until further notice, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
ODNR states that the closure includes the following outdoor areas:
- Ash Cave
- Cantwell Cliffs
- Cedar Falls
- Old Man’s Cave
- Rock House
- Whispering Cave
Additionally, the following areas have also been closed:
- Conkle’s Hollow State Nature Preserve
- Magee Marsh Wildlife Area
- Boardwalk trail at Maumee Bay State Park
According to park officials, other facilities such as campgrounds, lodges, cabins restrooms, shower houses, playgrounds, horse camps, golf courses and marina buildings are also closed.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and will make any changes that the conditions warrant for the health and safety of our staff the public,” ODNR stated.
