As new coronavirus cases increased across the state, Cuyahoga County saw its fewest number of new cases since April 19, with just 27.

The City of Cleveland reported 24 of those 27 cases in the county.

The county has reported less than 30 new cases just one other time since March 24.

The county has reported 3,006 coronavirus cases, which is the second most in the state behind Franklin County, which reported more than 100 new cases on Thursday.

While Cuyahoga County saw a decrease in cases, the state reported 636 new cases, breaking what had been a two-day plateau in the 400s.

Ohio reported 51 new coronavirus deaths, which is above the 21-day average of 42.
