Businesses, including salons, barbershops and outdoor restaurant service will be allowed to reopen on May 15 and indoor restaurant service allowed to reopen on May 21 under Gov. Mike DeWine’s plan to reopen Ohio, but that doesn’t mean all businesses feel ready to do so. More here.

The Cleveland Department of Public Health was notified Sunday of 19 new positive COVID-19 test results in residents of the city, bringing the total to 950 confirmed cases in Cleveland. There have been a total of 40 fatalities to date. The new cases include males and females, whose ages range from under one year old to in their 90s.

The Ohio Department of Health reported 384 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, a dip from the 681 newly reported cases on Saturday. More here.

With social distancing guidelines still being enforced, many are having to get creative when it comes to celebrating Mother’s Day. Fellowship Bible Church in Chagrin Falls hosted a Mother’s Day drive-in service allowing families to gather together safely. More here.
