COLUMBUS — In a daily update on coronavirus cases, the Ohio Department of Health confirms Sunday that there are now 4,043 cases of COVID-19 in the state. That's a jump of 304 from yesterday, showing that the number of new cases each day continues to accelerate.

There are now 119 deaths across the state, an increase of 17 over the previous day, which is the most reported in a 24 hour period.

There were 1,104 total hospitalizations reported on Sunday, with 346 ICU admissions, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The median age of patients is 53 with the age range for infected patients from younger than 1 years old to 101 years old.
