COLUMBUS — In a daily update on coronavirus cases, the Ohio Department of Health confirms Tuesday that there are now 4,782 cases of COVID-19 in the state. That's a jump of 332 from yesterday, showing that the number of new cases each day continues to accelerate.

There are now 167 deaths across the state, an increase of 25 over the previous day, the largest daily increase to date.

There were 1,354 total hospitalizations reported on Tuesday, with 417 ICU admissions, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The median age of patients is 54 with the age range for infected patients from younger than 1 years old to 101 years old.
