COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted will give their daily briefing on COVID-19 Thursday.

During the news conference on Wednesday, Husted said modelers say Ohio's unemployment could go as high as 20%, which is higher than the Great Recession where unemployment numbers reached 10.9%.

DeWine said that on May 1, Ohio will start a gradual reopening. Details are expected to be released this week.
