The Cleveland Browns were hoping to smooth over the tension between the organization and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz after passing him over for the head coaching position and hiring Todd Monken instead. However, Schwartz didn't share those hopes, and on Thursday, sent the Browns his letter of resignation, league sources told News 5.
